Schools from across the northeast are getting money from the province for playground improvements.

It's all part of $3.3 million dollars in funding across the province to improve playgrounds and encourage youth activity.

Crescent Park Elementary in School District 59 is receiving $50 thousand dollars in funding for playground improvements and upgrades.

Buick Creek Elementary in School District 60, RL Angus Elementary and Toad River School in School District 81 are also receiving $50 thousand dollars each in funding for playground improvements.
