Chetwynd RCMP are looking for suspects after reports of semi-automatic gunfire near the Pine River Lodge.

Police say the shots were fired at about 7:30 monday evening, struck the hillside near occupied cabins at the lodge.

Police say shots have come close to the property before. The RCMP patroled trails in the area, but no suspects were located. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chetwynd RCMP at 250-788-9221 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
