Money, jewelry stolen in Chetwynd break-ins

Chetwynd RCMP are looking for suspects after two break and enters this week. Police say a house was broken into in the crown subdivision at about 1:30 in the afternoon of July 31st. A considerable amount of US currency was stolen from the home, including 100s, 50s, and 20 dollar bills.
Currency appears to have been the target in another break in on Thursday. At about 1:20 Thursday afternoon, more than $10000 dollars in jewelry and old-style US and Canadian currency was stolen from a home in the Rodeo subdivision, including a number of old Canadian 1 and 2 dollar bills.
Police have no witnesses in Thursday's robbery, but the suspect in Tuesday's break in is described as a white male, about 18-20 years of age. He is described as thin with black hair and wearing a ball cap and a white t-shirt with black jeans.
